Denik creates sketchbooks that highlight the work of artists and designers. They contacted me to create a series of sketchbooks, and I designed covers that would be uplifting and connected to everyday life. In particular, I thought the fifth journal (the Balancing Act Journal) would be especially relatable to many. This specific journal utilizes the icon system in the top right-hand corner of the journals—used to signify each journal—and reorganizes it in a precarious manner.
